Why Pay Full Price for the Movies!  Use your Alumni Connections for better options!

The Syracuse University Drama Organization is now offering discount movie tickets for sale.  SUDO has purchased discount movie tickets to Loews Cineplex Theatres to resell to our members and the Syracuse University Alumni Community.  These tickets are valid nationwide.

If you wish to receive an order form for discount movie tickets, please fill in the fields below and submit your request to us.  We will email you an order form in adobe pdf format.  Fill out the order form and mail it along with your check to SUDO and once your check clears, your tickets will be mailed to you.

We currently have two types of discount movie tickets available. The Ultimate Passport and the Weekday Escape. See details and restrictions for each type of ticket under the respective photos below.  A $2.00 surcharge plus USPS certified mail postage will be added to your order to cover administrative and mailing costs. 

Please Note that because of the Merger of AMC and Loews Movie Theater Chains the following changes became effective as of September 30, 2005. 
   1) Discount Movie Tickets will no longer have an expiration date, regardless of month punched on ticket.
   2) Ticket Pricing and surcharge rates increased as of 9-30-05.  (While our supply lasts, you can purchase tickets at the old rates and use them under the old surcharge rules. You may need to inform the box office that these are old tickets and not subject to the new rules.)

Please Note that once the merger of the two companies is complete (anticipated for first quarter 2006) Discount Movie Tickets will be valid at all AMC & Loews Locations Nationwide subject to terms and conditions contained in such products and in accordance with local laws.

• Ultimate Passport Tickets can be redeemed for one admission at all Loews Theater, Cineplex Odeon Theatres, Magic Johnson Theatres, and Star Theatres.*

• As of September 30, 2005 tickets do not expire, regardless of month punched on ticket.

• Not valid for the first ten days of a motion picture’s release. Good any day of the week thereafter, including holidays and weekends!

• Only $6.00 per ticket!

• One dollar and fifty cent ($1.50) surcharge if presented at any Loews Cineplex Theatre in Manhattan or San Francisco Metreon.

      *Not valid at Loews Cineplex Imax Theatres

• Weekday Escape Tickets valid for one admission at any Loews Cineplex Theatre, Loews Imax Theatre, Cineplex Odeon Theatre, Star Theatre, or Magic Johnson • Theatre Monday-Thursday (excluding Holidays)

• Only $5.00 per ticket.

• While supplies last, No surcharge when used in Manhattan (New surcharge is $1.50 per ticket in Manhattan or the SF Metreon )

• As of September 30, 2005 tickets do not expire, regardless of month punched on ticket.

• The Weekday Escape Ticket can be used Monday-Thursday excluding Holidays and there are no additional restrictions.

• Currently, Weekday Escape Tickets include a Free Small Popcorn with the purchase of a regular size drink.
